One-On-One Leadership Coaching Process
Build Trust through Active Listening
At the onset of your coaching relationship, Jane will focus on getting to know you and establishing trust. Great listening and transparency is critical to our productivity and success.
To have a successful leadership coaching experience, it is important to establish a mutually agreed upon definition of success.
As an individual’s leadership coach, Jane will investigate what might be preventing a client from being more successful, or achieving their goals. She uses assessments, interviews and observations to identify areas of improvement.
Develop the Strategy & Action Plan
Once Jane has gathered sufficient feedback on the client’s leadership and communication style, she will use those findings with ongoing input from the client to form her recommended strategy. Jane and the client will work together to develop a clear action plan to improving the client’s leadership style. The agreed-upon plan would include actionable steps, expected timelines for implementation and built-in accountability measures.
The goal of individual leadership coaching is to provide the client with the tools needed to improve their leadership approach. Jane will provide the ongoing support, counsel, and encouragement needed to ensure her client’s success and growth.
